Real Estate - is More than a Business it's a Passion

March 10, 2017

Real Estate. House Hunting. Home Marketing. Pride in Homeownership.

These are all passions and a way of life - all inspired by my parents who have loved real estate long before HGTV was the hit that it is today.

When you think about it real estate the is most intimate personal financial investment we make. It is an investment you live not only with but in day in and day out. Although it is a business real estate is so much more - it is a personal and emotional process

whether you are buying, selling or renting.

My parents have personally led our family through moves across neighborhoods, towns, state, and state lines up and down the east coast. Moves happened all throughout our lives as young children, in the middle of the school year, in the middle of highschool, college and since they became empty nesters. This personal experience gives perspective and understanding to the clients and families we work with who are first time home buyers, relocators, cross town movers, and much more.

Real estate has been apart of my life for almost as long as I can remember. My Mom first became an agent in Ohio - I loved being able to go with her to preview homes and our family often went to open houses together. Now I get the opportunity to work alongside her on The Sotet Team as a Long and Foster Realtor in Northern Virginia.

Learning from her continues every day and I am blessed to be able to work with her - and get to know my Mom in a whole new way. As a woman I admire for her professionalism, integrity, level of service, and vast knowledge of real estate from her 15 + years with licenses in three different states.  It is a joy of mine to be able to partner with her and join her in guiding other families through the exciting and sometimes stress a move or new beginning brings - as she did with our family time and time again.

Thank You Margo Sotet for being my Mom and the best mentor and partner I could ask for!
