The Rural Business Development Division focuses primarily on promoting agricultural products and assists in the development of new agricultural businesses. The agricultural development staff produces informational materials and sponsors educational programs along with agri-tourism events throughout the year. The bi-annual tours draw more than 9,000 visitors to Loudoun County and serve as a teaching mechanism to inform consumers of what products are grown and available locally.

Another wonderful resource provided by the Loudoun Virginia Farms, is the Hartvest Calendar informing us what is in peak season as well as letting us know where we can go to purchase fresh produce at local farms. Be sure to check out the farm tour and learn where you can pick your own or subscribe to CSA.
